About 70 members of staff had signed a letter calling for Oxfam to investigate Dr Begum's conduct, with several employees said to have resigned after falling out with her, the Times reported. A spokesperson for Oxfam told this newspaper: “Oxfam GB’s trustees have a duty to review any serious concerns raised about leadership or governance. “We have great respect for colleagues who have raised concerns about culture. Earlier this year, Oxfam announced it would be making redundancies in a bid to save £10.2m on payroll expenses. More than 250 people out of its 2,100 workforce were made at risk of redundancy, with Oxfam saying this 'restructure' is being implemented now.
