Lincoln University to axe science majorsIAIN MCGREGOR/FAIRFAX NZ Lincoln University is cutting programmes in a bid to improve its course offerings. Four science majors will be the first to go as Lincoln University works to improve its course offerings and shaves millions of dollars from its budget. In August, vice-chancellor Robin Pollard told members of the Lincoln University Council it was necessary to "expedite" a review of all courses offered by the university. Lincoln University released a "strategic risks" document in July, where it highlighted the "declining relative attractiveness of studying at Lincoln" as a "very serious risk".
