Lime has increased its price from 30 cents per minute to 38 cents per minute. E-scooter company Lime has increased its pricing to 38 cents per minute, that's about a 26 per cent hike, to offer "excellent operational support". Last month Auckland Council quadrupled its fees for e-scooter providers in its second trial as Lime and other companies were being categorised as "oversized vendors", but Lime's spokeswoman Lauren Mentjox said the price increase wasn't due to the council increase. Mentjox said the prices had increased across the country from 30 cents to 38 cents per minute on top of the $1 base fare. Wellington based e-scooter company Flamingo, which charged 30 cents a minute after the $1 to unlock the e-scooter, would not change its pricing.
