An investigation is under way after Dunedin’s Water of Leith turned a bright shade of green yesterday afternoon. An Otago Regional Council spokeswoman said members of the public had alerted its pollution team to the issue, and it was investigating the cause. The bright green water was visible in the section of the river by the Woodhaugh Gardens.
