KUALA LUMPUR: A businessman, who has been charged with insulting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor on Facebook, claims that his account was banned even before the alleged incident. "His Facebook account has been suspended since March 30. He was in Klang at the time in question," said Lim Lip Eng, the lawyer for Kum Eng Choon, 48. Lim said Kum's Facebook account was banned due to complaints, which were unrelated to the charge, made against his client. He conceded, however, that Kum was holding up a placard with insulting words during the Bersih 5.0 rally last year, and the pictures had been circulating on social media.
