SUBANG JAYA: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin pulled off a cool gimmick dressed in the Rimau mascot suit for an official function to launch a school sports meet here on Sunday. It was not much of a surprise for the adults but the schoolchildren of SK TTDI 2 were thrilled to see Khairy in the 29th SEA Games 2017 mascot suit. Khairy said he wanted give the SEA Games, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, more publicity. And as a run-up to the sports meet in August, he decided to come to the function disguised in the Rimau mascot suit. SK TTDI 2 is one of the 30 schools nationwide chosen as a platform to promote the SEA Games.
