Updated 5 p.m.A low-pressure area (LPA) last found off eastern Mindanao has developed into tropical depression “Domeng,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday afternoon. Domeng is packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 60 kph. It is forecast to move north northwest at 14 kph and is forecast to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday morning. No tropical cyclone warning signal is expected to be raised in any part of the country, the weather bureau added. Meanwhile, another LPA was sighted at 1,193 km east of Luzon but is expected to dissipate after 24 hours.
