Some polling station executives of the New Patriotic Party in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region have ordered the National Health Insurance Authority Manager Mohammed Kamal Hassan to resign immediately or face their wrath. The party members accused him of actively participating in the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) campaign for re-election in 2016. But the NPP executives in Kwabre East have condemned the act, saying the polling station executives erred by not using the right channel to express their concerns. The constituency secretary, Opoku Agyemang Bonsu speaking to Citi News about the issue said the procedure used by the polling station executives during the petition process was wrong.
