Kuria, Muthama charged with incitement

Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi had earlier warned the politicians against "misbehaving" but they protested saying they were still innocent until proven otherwise. Mr Muthama was the first to be charged with making inflammatory remarks against President Uhuru Kenyatta. He denied the charge and was released on Sh300,000 bond. Mr Kuria denied the charge of making abusive remarks against opposition leader Raila Odinga and his wife Ida.
