Channel Seven's Matt Doran shocked viewers on Sunday when he announced live on air he was set to quit Weekend Sunrise. 'I flew to London to interview Adele, an unspeakable privilege and what was to be one of the highlights of my career. Matt made headlines again a few months later when he stormed off the Weekend Sunrise set. Matt later took several weeks of personal leave after vanishing in the Hunter Valley and was reportedly spending time at home, 'prioritising his health'. He was replaced by his colleague Michael Usher on Weekend Sunrise.
