Kuria’s ‘help’ not needed, say residents

A group of Kakamega County residents oppose the visit today by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria for a Western youth mentorship program in Mumias town. He said Western youth are not pro Jubilee. Mahiakalo MCA Cleophas Malala and Bunge la Haki secretary Musa Ekaya led residents in expressing dissatisfaction on social media. Kuria, Water CS Eugene Wamalwa and former MP Kizito Mugali are to meet more than 3000 youth drawn from Busia, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Vihiga and Kakamega counties. Malala said Western people do not lack role models, noting Kuria has been accused several times of inciting youth.
