A day after International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that Pakistan must review the death sentence for Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav, Pakistan Prime Minister Thursday welcomed the court’s decision not to set him free. Khan, in a tweet, alleged that Jadhav “is guilty of crimes against the people of Pakistan and the country shall proceed further as per law”. Appreciate ICJ’s decision not to acquit, release & return Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav to India. The ICJ said Pakistan has breached international law by denying Jadhav consular access and legal representation. The court verdict, in paragraphs 99-119, indicts Pakistan’s military court that does not allow for legal representation.
