Kotoko have won two and lost two in four league games and are currently ninth on the standings with six points. Charged for misconductThe GFA Disciplinary Committee charged Kotoko with misconduct on four counts for various violations in their Ghana Premier League Day 3 encounter with Berekum Chelsea. Proposed sanctionsIn accordance with the newly-introduced provisions, Article 34 (7) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, the GFA prosecutor proposed the following sanctions: should Asante Kotoko SC accept their guilt, Asante Kotoko SC shall play five home matches behind closed doors at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and pay a fine of GH¢10,000. In case Kotoko decides to proceed to the Disciplinary Committee, should the prosecution be successful at the Disciplinary Committee, the prosecution shall pray the Disciplinary Committee for the imposition of the maximum sanction(s) as set out by the GFA Statutes, Disciplinary Code and Regulations.
