Kim Jong-un has banned mullet hairstyles and skinny jeans over fears that 'decadent' Western culture will influence young North Koreans. The country will be ripped down 'like a damp wall' if more is not done to stop the 'invasion of a capitalistic lifestyle', a state-run newspaper claimed. It went on to say: 'We must be wary of even the slightest sign of the capitalistic lifestyle and fight to get rid of them.' The December crackdown also saw those in possession of popular South Korean videos facing tougher penalties, Metro reports. North Koreans can choose from between 15 approved hairstyles under the country's laws, it has been claimed.
