In affidavit filed at the chief magistrate's court, Pravin Galot who is a nephew of the couple is seeking orders to stop Wandugi from representing the two in court. Lawyer Karathe Wandugi is acting for Mr Mohan Galot and his wife Santosh Galot in case where the family is involved in dispute over the ownership and control of companies. "The application to have me disqualified from acting on behalf of the two lacks merit," said Wandugi in court documents. Pravin, in his application, had raised complaint that Wandugi had obtained information relating to Galot Group and may use it to prejudice the case. "I want Wandugi to be disqualified from representing my uncle and aunt because I am the founder of Galot Companies," said Pravin.
