In its latest weather outlook, Kenya Met said rainfall is expected from 9.00 a.m. on Sunday, December 28, to 9.00 a.m. on Monday, December 29. Kenya Met urged the public to stay informed through its official communication platforms for timely updates and advisories as the rainy conditions persist. The warning follows a Meteorological Department advisory indicating moderate to heavy rainfall of more than 20–30mm in several regions. The weather is expected to intensify in several counties through December 29 before easing on December 30, according to the Met Department.
