Los Angeles pushed its lead to eight points with 3:05 remaining when Ogwumike made two free throws, her final points of the game. Mitchell book-ended a pair of McCowan free throws with a long 2-point jumper then a 3-pointer, her fourth of the night. She and Tiffany Mitchell, who scored 12 points, accounted for all six of Indiana’s 3-pointers on 17 attempts. Los Angeles was also without Jasmine Walker due to a knee injury. Lauren Cox and Nia Coffey provided boosts off the bench for Los Angeles.
