“Kabogo has no power to speak on behalf of the people of Mt Kenya. Other leaders who hit greatly on Kabogo's remarks are Alfred Keter, Kiragu Chege, Maina Kamanda and Karungu Thang'wa. Waweru added that if Kabogo wanted to be Deputy President, he would have to first deal deal with his MPs and opponents in Kiambu, especially Ferdinad Waititu. Leaders have come out clearly to criticise Kabogo's remarks but it is Radio Citizen political analyst Waweru Mburu whose unhappiness cannot be let unmentioned. It appears many are not happy with Kiambu Governor William Kabogo's recent remarks that the Mt Kenya region would not vote William Ruto president in the 2022 elections.
