Just doing my duty to speak up for my people – that was Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh’s reply when asked about her perceived tiff with Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad over the proposed development in Taman Rimba Kiara. On Thursday (May 16), Khalid said he was “very disappointed” with Yeoh for making media statements and presenting facts that were confusing, hurtful and embarrassing to him. Her solution on the issue is for the whole project to be cancelled – a motion that is strongly supported by TTDI residents.
