Wambugu wants PSC to sack the Chief Justice for plotting a judicial coupMartin Ngunjiri Wambugu has named in his petition against Chief Justice David Maraga, people he claims influenced the decision to nullify President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection. The Nyeri Town MP in his 14-page petition, accuses Maraga of being a puppet of Non Governmental Organisations who have strong links with the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga. CJ Maraga, Smokin Wanjala, Isaac Leonaola and Philomena Mwilu (Deputy Chief Justice) voted in favour of Raila’s petition and voided the August 8 presidential election in which IEBC had declared Kenyatta the winner.
