Leading a seven bench Judge last month, CJ Maraga made history in Africa, nullifying presidential results and ordering for a fresh election. The MP said that Maraga interacted with Raila’s lawyers unprofessionally during the presidential election petition hearing. He accused Maraga of gross misconduct, saying that the secret phone calls somehow influenced the outcome of the petition. The Chief Justice also concealed those conversations from the other parties in that presidential petition in breach of The Judicial Code of Conduct & Ethics.
