National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has opened 20 JomPay kiosks at selected PTPTN branches under a strategic collaboration with AmBank Islamic Bhd to encourage more online transactions. JomPay transactions are free, swift and secure. Currently, 42 banks are participating with PTPTN for online transactions via JomPay. PTPTN deputy chief executive officer (policy and operations) Mastura Mohd Khalid said PTPTN had been working with AmBank since October to support JomPay transactions. She said with the kiosks, PTPTN hoped to increase banking and online transactions from 27 per cent to 30 per cent by year-end.
