JOHOR BARU: Police seized RM1.2mil worth of drugs from a drug syndicate and arrested 14 suspects including seven foreigners. Various drugs including 12.8kg of syabu, 200 Erimin 5 pills, and 0.95kg of ketamine; five cars; jewellery; and cash amounting to about RM30,000 were also seized. It is understood that the syndicate had been trafficking drugs to Singapore and for local markets since early this year. Comm Mohd Khalil told reporters yesterday that five suspects have previous records for drugs and criminal activity. The 14 suspects, including two women, have been remanded until Friday to assist investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
