IPOH: A 42-year-old jobless man kicked and shattered the glass door of the Gopeng police station, about 20km from here. "After breaking the door, the man ran into the station and shouted before grabbing a plastic chair to strike at the policeman," he said in a statement Wednesday (Nov 15). "The policeman tried to arrest the man and a scuffle ensued," he said. He said the man then tried to escape through the back door but was caught by other policemen. A policeman injured his right arm during the scuffle while the man suffered injuries to his head and body.
