GEORGE TOWN: Neighbours were only able to watch helplessly as an early morning blaze destroyed the two-storey home of MCA Tanjong Youth chief Lim Swee Bok at Pintasan Cecil 5, Pengkalan Weld here. Lim’s mother, wife and two young children were killed in the fire. “(Once outside, I tried to help) put out the fire while waiting for the firemen, but the fire was too large for us. He said that 60 per cent of the house was razed, and that the forensic unit is still investigating the cause of the blaze. Meanwhile, Lim was seen at the site of his razed house this morning, looking inconsolable.
