Jet Airways to deploy larger aircraft on Mumbai-Singapore route to meet demand


From August 6, the airline would start operating Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft on the Mumbai-Singapore route. To meet the growing passenger demand on the Mumbai-Singapore route, Jet Airways said it will deploy a Boeing 777 plane that has more seats, from next month. The Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft has a three-class configuration -- eight first class suites, 30 premiere flat beds, and 308 economy seats. The airline will deploy a Boeing 777 aircraft which will lead to a 50% increase in its capacity. In a release, the airline said that deploying Boeing 777-300 ER -- the largest aircraft in its fleet -- on the route would result in 50% capacity increase.
