Regarding regional and international issues, the two leaders agreed on the importance of a free, open, stable, rules-based and peaceful Indo-Pacific region. The visit of President Quang and his spouse is made at the invitation of the State of Japan. While in Japan, President Quang held talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and met with political and economic leaders of Japan.
