The competitors in the Time Speed Distance Rally will negotiate jungle roads and hilly tracks to make their way to the finishing point with the least number of penalties. The rally is being co-sponsored by the transport and tourism departments and organised by the Kolkata Automotive Sports Association. "We have a mixture of veteran rallyists and rookies in the competition," said Debasish Bhattacharjee, founder of Kolkata Automotive Sports. There is a total prize money of Rs 1 lakh to be won.
