KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) announced that they have acquired a Brazilian defender, Bruno Gabriel Soares for the coming Malaysia League season. The statement also revealed that the former Hapoel Tel Aviv defender will most likely play for JDT II and will only feature for the Southern Tigers when he is needed. We have put him as a `standby’ player just in case Marcos Antonio cannot return to full fitness in time. "For now he will most likely play for JDT II and will only play for the main squad when needed,” added the statement. Before this, the four time consecutive Super League champions had announced the return of two of their former Argentinian imports in Jorge Pereyra Diaz and Luciano Figueroa.
