A joint team of security forces gunned down three terrorists after a gunfight broke out in the Tral area of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening. The encounter was conducted by a joint team of 42 Rashtriya Rifles,180 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force and officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. According to sources, the terrorists were associated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and all were residents of Kashmir. An AK 56 gun, a pistol, two grenades, a large number of arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession. The operation has now been concluded and the process of handing over the bodies to the family is being done.
