Italy's coronavirus death toll has risen by 727 today, the lowest daily rise since March 26. The country's total death toll now sits at 13,155, the Civil Protection Agency revealed, with today's increase significantly smaller than Tuesday's. The percentage rise in daily deaths in Italy - 5.8 per cent - is also the lowest since the crisis began in the country. Some newspapers are asking why jumps in March deaths reported individually by some cities do not appear to be reflected in the national tally. United Nations data show Italy recording the highest number of deaths in January and the lowest in June.
