Israel to use enzymes to build Kiambu cheaper roads


Israel yesterday said it will partner with the Kiambu government to upgrade county roads using cheap technology to save money and create jobs. “We know with this new technology Israel will help us construct the 3,500km road infrastructure as per our 2017 infrastructure plan,” he said. The county and national government will carry out tests using international standards on the 400m road developed by the Israelites. The technology globally known as Soil Enhancing Solutions capitalises on enzymes to modify roads, irrespective of the soils. “We partnered today with I-Tec-W from Israel to demonstrate how their soil-stabilising solution is effective in upgrading our roads.
