Unlike the kamikaze drones that Iran previously supplied to Russia, these UAVs are designed for multiple use – after striking, they return to the base. Iran sent along with the drones a group of 54 instructors who helped the Russian military master the drones. The Guardian reports that the UAVs delivered to Russia were produced at the same factory in Isfahan, which was attacked in late January. BAGNET recalls that in the fall of 2022, The Washington newspaper The Post reported that Russia plans to launch the production of Iranian drones on its territory.
