Indonesian consul wants justice for Adelina, demands explanation - Nation

GEORGE TOWN (Bernama): The Indonesian consulate in Penang is demanding an explanation over the decision of the court to drop Adelina Jerima Sau's case. Adelina, 21, an Indonesian maid, died after she was believed to have been abused by her employer last year. However, he said the consulate respected the process of law in this country and hoped Adelina could get justice. The decision shocked many parties including non-governmental organisations Tenaganita and International Humanitarian Welfare Organisation (IHWO) who demanded that Attorney General Tommy Thomas review the decision. When rescued, Adelina was found to have serious injuries over her body with pus-filled wounds due to burns on her arms and legs while her face was swollen.
