CLEVELAND (AP) " Cleveland designated hitter Carlos Santana was hit in the head by a foul ball in the dugout on Thursday night and sent home from the Indians' match against the Los Angeles Angels. Cleveland's trainers checked on Santana as a concerned Lindor knelt outside the batter's box. Santana was standing behind the railing on the top step of the dugout and went down after being hit. Santana hit a leadoff homer in the first inning. Santana was helped to the clubhouse by Cleveland's trainers.
