Wellington beer darlings Garage Project's stall was a pastel-coloured confection, serving up kids' menu-themed brews in honour of its fifth birthday, to punters sporting cardboard party crowns. Event manager Beth Brash said there were 381 beer varieties on offer at Beervana. Beer writer Michael Donaldson had been intrigued to sample Garage Project's controversial "Party and Bulls...".,"In the little microcosm that is the beer world, it's been a big talking point," Donaldson said. The event, which runs from 11am-4pm and 6-11pm on Friday and Saturday, had 2,500 punters attend on Friday morning.
