The inauguration of the P8.9-billion Bohol-Panglao international airport is set for Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Monday. The facility can hold a total 650 passengers during peak hours, 200 passengers more than what Tagbilaran airport could hold, the DOTr and the CAAP said. President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to lead the inauguration of the terminal. He will be joined by transportation officials including DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade and CAAP Director General Capt. Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, and National Economic Development Authority Secretary Ernesto Pernia are also expected to attend the inauguration rites.
