Immigration to deport fake Korean journalist

MANILA, Philippines — A Korean wanted in his country for a string of fraud cases is set to be deported by the Bureau of Immigration. Immigration commissioner Jaime Morente identified the fugitive as Yun Jong Sik (33), who is subject of four outstanding arrest warrants issued by Korean courts. The Korean fugitive allegedly received 42.2-million won from the victims in 16 incidents between August and September 2013. It was also learned that Yun’s Korean passport has already expired, and he has been staying in the country as an undocumented alien in the past years. The Korean fugitive is currently detained at the BI Detention Center in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig pending deportation.
