Kwale speaker Sammy Ruwa has dismissed claims he is being used by powerful politicians to divide the Duruma vote in the race for governor. “We are two Duruma leaders in ODM and only one of us can win the party ticket,” he said. The Duruma are the second-largest group of voters after the Digo. Ruwa urged Governor Salim Mvurya not to fear competition.
