Jack Molony’s international cap has always been a source of pride for his family. Over the next two weeks, his grandson Ross is hoping to follow in his footsteps. “That’d be a huge moment for me, so I’m hoping I can go on and do that for them. His name was Jack Molony, he was a big UCD RFC man and went on and got his Ireland cap. I’m proud I’ve made it into the squad and now it’s about pushing on and getting that first cap, and then pushing on from that.
