Mahama sealed the deal with the Techiman-based club on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 and all players of the team will be transferred to the new owner. The businessman pledged to pump more resources into the club and expect the deal to move Eleven Wonders onto the “next level”. Techiman Eleven Wonders made their maiden appearance in the Ghana top-flight in the 2017-18 Ghana Premier League season. They confirmed their place in the Ghana Premier League after they defeated Unity FC 1-0 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem in the Zone 1 of the National Division One League to clinch their place.
