He said government had identified the stretch as a "critical" road and would ensure that "it is delivered". The Road Minister said government was aware of the state of roads across the country and disbursed funds through Government of Ghana and the Road Fund to pay some 10,000 certificates for contractors to return to site. He said by the end of November 2019, work would resume on all stalled road projects across the country. President Akufo-Addo said his government was dealing with the state of roads in the country.
