A huge search was launched, with police, the community and the media banding together to do all they could to find the missing primary school girls. It had been an idyllic summer's day when Holly and Jessica were kidnapped by the twisted school caretaker and brutally killed. As they made their way back to Holly's house, they walked past the home used by their school caretaker, Ian Huntley. Desperate, both families were now searching for the missing 10-year-olds and Holly and Jessica were reported missing to police.
