The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, on Thursday visited Plateau State following the deadly attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area. The police boss also commiserated with the state government and families of victims affected by the attack. Responding, Mutfwang thanked President Bola Tinubu and security chiefs for their support, expressing optimism that Plateau would overcome its long-standing security challenges. Mutfwang urged residents to remain vigilant and cautioned against the spread of misinformation on social media, which he said fuels tension. The governor added that security agencies were already pursuing useful leads from the Angwan Rukuba attack.
