Nigerian cricket star Lucky Piety recently led the Female Yellow Greens to their second Nigeria Cricket Federation Women’s T20I Invitational Tournament title in Lagos. At the last T20i tournament in Lagos, you stepped in as captain and led Nigeria to a dramatic nine-run win in the final. The total was very low, and we had plans to put in a lot more as a team. For now, it feels normal, but I think in years to come, cricket players won’t be able to walk freely in their schools again. I think in the next five years, we will be playing more leagues and taking Nigerian cricket to the global stage.
