New Delhi, Aug. 22: Searchers are still combing the seabed in the area from where an IAF plane with 29 people on board was last seen on radar, exactly a month after the flight from Chennai to Port Blair vanished. An IAF source said a Geological Survey of India ship, the Samudra Ratnakar, that was part of the search had picked up "echoes" of about 79 objects in the seabed at a depth of about 3km. The "echoes" of the Sonar only show the presence of hard objects in the zone that may not necessarily be the debris of the aircraft. "We understand the need to give closure to the families. The search will continue," a defence ministry source said, asked if there was a time limit.
