The Prime Minister urged the political parties to reach out to the people to address their sense of alienation. Speaking to reporters after meeting the Prime Minister, Abdullah said this was not a time for a blame game. "Jammu Kashmir politics ka akhada nahi banna chahiye, (Jammu and Kashmir should not become an arena for political battles)," he said. "There is a contradiction... the Prime Minister and the finance minister are not on the same page. Modi refers to the phrases used by former Prime Minister (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) insaaniyat, jamhooriyat and Kashmiriyat.
