Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero he said he doesn't know journalist Geoffrey Kiplagat, who filed an affidavit containing bribery allegations against him. "I do not know Kiplagat. But on Monday Kidero told a tribunal investigating Tunoi that the journalist's allegations were fabricated. A CID officer said at no point were Kidero, Tunoi, lawyer Katwa Kigen and Kiplagat at Petro petrol station on Waiyaki Way, where the bribe allegedly changed hands. Inspector Monicah Githaiga said Kidero was in Muthaiga , Tunoi was in the CBD, Kigen in Kilimani and Kiplagat in Madaraka, Nairobi West.
