Adekunle Peter, BeninTwenty-one-year-old Christabel Buoro, a student of the University of Benin, allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday over a failed love affair. Unconfirmed reports had it that Christabel mixed an insecticide, popularly called Sniper, with a soft drink, which she allegedly took. A source in the compound told our correspondent that Christabel’s corpse was later discovered. He confirmed that the corpse had been recovered but declined comment on whether autopsy would be carried out or not.
