Abiodun Nejo, Ado EkitiThe police in Ekiti State have arrested four men in connection with the alleged stealing of a pair of pants belonging to a grandmother, Modupe Adekoya, in the Olorunsogo area of Basiri, Ado Ekiti. The woman, who had washed her underwear and spread them to dry on her balcony around 3am on Tuesday, raised the alarm when she could not find the pair of pants at daybreak. On her part, Adekoya said, “I know Friday very well as he usually comes to assist me with some domestic chores. “I had washed my pants and hung two pairs to dry in the corridor of my house around 3am on June 11. He did eventually confess to stealing the underwear and that was when we invited the police to arrest him.
